Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Chris lifted himself into the history books by becoming the first adaptive athlete to sucessfully lift the Dinnie Stones unassisted. This is a very significant step forward for adaptive athletes. His lift was witnessed by Brett Nicol, Jim & Rosemary Splaine, Abby Nicol & the crowd of spectators and lifters in attendance.
